 We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a healthcare facility in Oklahoma. This 177-day assignment starts on 07/14/2025, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing primary care cases, including chronic and acute illnesses, as well as urgent care cases such as minor injuries, respiratory infections, and minor wounds and fractures. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients

• Manage primary care cases, including chronic and acute illnesses

• Handle urgent care cases such as minor injuries, respiratory infections, and minor wounds

• Treat patients with conditions including COVID-19, cold, flu, bruises, concussions, and minor fractures

• See an estimated minimum of 20 patients per eight-hour workday

• Recommend and refer patients to other Indian Health Service providers as needed

• Utilize RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) for documentation

• Adapt to varying patient loads and acuity levels

• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Stay current with the latest developments in family medicine
