 Wellhart is seeking a skilled Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position in Iowa. This 56-day assignment is spread across multiple weeks from June to September 2025, with coverage needed from 8a-4:30p. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with admitting patients from the ED, managing inpatient medical floors, and overseeing patient care in the ICU. Responsibilities include patient management, discharges, and handling an average of 4-6 patients per day. This opportunity is at a Critical Access Hospital and offers a chance for extension. The role requires licensure in Iowa and familiarity with the Allscripts system.
