We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This role commences on Aug 4, 2025, and involves nighttime shifts from 7 pm to 7 am. The position primarily entails cross-covering ICU patients during night hours, with a schedule of 7 on and 7 off, providing an excellent balance for dedicated professionals.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Cross-cover ICU patients during night shifts
• Monitor and manage the care of hospitalized patients
• Respond to medical emergencies in the ICU
• Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records
• Ensure continuity of care by communicating effectively with other healthcare professionals
• Utilize Meditech EHR for maintaining accurate patient records

Additional Information

• Must be a board-certified Physician Assistant
• Required to hold a valid Indiana license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience in hospital medicine is essential
