Job Description

We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a 21-day locum tenens assignment in Wyoming, starting Sep 1, 2025. This role requires working day shifts from 7a to 7p, with a 7-on/7-off schedule, providing critical support in an open ICU at a Trauma facility with a dedicated COVID wing.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with the Emergency Department (ED) to manage code blue and airway emergencies
  • Support the attending hospitalist throughout the shift
  • Handle critical care procedures including:
  • Ventilator management
  • Central line placement
  • Intubation
  • Consult with specialty services such as Nephrology and Radiology
  • Utilize the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation and management


Additional Information

  • Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in Wyoming
  • Experience in inpatient and acute care settings is essential
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and high-pressure environment
  • Strong team collaboration skills, working closely with multiple departments
