Physician - Hospitalist

Job Description

We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a 4-day locum tenens assignment in Florida, starting on Jul 11, 2025. This opportunity involves 24-hour coverage shifts where you will handle rounding on newborn and pediatric patients, support for deliveries and emergency C-sections, and manage both acute and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Round on newborn and pediatric patients
• Provide backup support for deliveries and emergency C-sections
• Admit and manage patients in a hospital setting
• Handle both acute and chronic medical conditions
• Ensure comprehensive patient care and documentation using the Epic EMR system

Additional Information

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must be board certified in Hospital Medicine
• Valid Florida medical license necessary
