Job Description

We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in North Dakota, beginning on Aug 4, 2025. This role involves night shifts from 3 PM to 7 AM, primarily covering Friday through Monday. The position is based in a demanding NICU environment, requiring the attendance at high-risk deliveries and the management of critical neonatal procedures.


Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform intubations, central and peripheral line placements
  • Manage peripheral arterial lines
  • Attend high-risk deliveries
  • Conduct ground and air transports including fixed-wing operations
  • Ensure effective patient care in neonatal intensive care settings


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Neonatology required
  • Active ND state license required or candidate must be willing to obtain one
  • DEA and NRP certifications must be current before the commencement of the assignment
  • Clean malpractice history preferred
  • Proficiency with the Epic EMR system necessary
