Job Description

We are seeking a Neurocritical Care Physician Assistant for a 12-week locum tenens assignment in Oklahoma. This challenging role starts on Aug 18, 2025, and involves a night shift schedule from 6 PM to 6 AM, including weekends and holidays. The position requires handling various neurocritical cases in an intensive care setting, utilizing Epic EMR system, and ensuring high-quality patient care during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide critical care and monitor patients within the neuro-intensive care unit
• Manage and treat patients with life-threatening neurological and neurosurgical conditions
• Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation and coordination of care
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient treatment plans
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and compliance
• Maintain communication with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Neurocritical Care
• Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in Oklahoma
