 We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Neurological Surgery for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Florida. This 24-day assignment begins on 08/04/2025, with a schedule of 7 am to 5 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and call coverage on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The ideal candidate will assist two Neurosurgeons with surgeries, post-operative care in the hospital, and OR-related duties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified PA to provide crucial coverage and potentially extend their assignment. The locum will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, collaborating with the surgical team, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist Neurosurgeons with surgical procedures

• Provide post-operative care in the hospital

• Perform OR-related duties as required

• Conduct pre-operative assessments and assist in developing treatment plans

• Monitor patients' conditions and manage post-operative care

• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
