Wellhart is seeking a skilled Neurologist for a locum tenens position at a multi-specialty clinic in Ohio. This opportunity offers 60 days of coverage, starting from 06/02/2025. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with no weekends or call requirements. The neurologist will be responsible for providing outpatient neurological care, and evaluating and treating a variety of neurological conditions.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological care 

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological disorders 

• Perform neurological examinations and interpret diagnostic tests 

• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes 

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation 

• Stay current with the latest advancements in neurological care 

• Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions and treatment options 

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed 

• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations

Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Ohio 

• Board certification in Neurology required 

• Experience in outpatient neurology preferred 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential 

• Ability to manage a diverse patient population 

• Potential for assignment extension beyond initial dates
