Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide clinical neurology services to a diverse patient population
- Ensure professional neurology coverage in inpatient and Emergency Department settings
- Coordinate evaluation, treatment, and medical management of Veterans
- Follow all established medication policies and procedures
- Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in on-call rotations
- Ensure compliance with VA rules and regulations regarding clinic wait times and consult completion
Additional Information
- At least 2 years of experience in neurology preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Must be available for on-call duties during off-hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- EMR system used: CPRS
