Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide on-call coverage for obstetric and gynecological emergencies
• Manage labor and delivery cases as needed
• Perform emergency cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
• Handle gynecological emergencies and consultations
• Utilize the Epic system for efficient workflow management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and patient interactions
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Demonstrate flexibility for potential ongoing coverage as schedules are determined
• Provide expert consultation on complex OB/GYN cases
• Ensure high-quality care and patient safety during all interactions
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Colorado
• Familiarity with Epic system is preferred
• Strong adaptability to new work environments and team dynamics
