Job Description

We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position at a multi-specialty clinic in Kansas. This 42-day assignment is spread across multiple months from June to December 2025, with potential for ongoing coverage. The schedule consists of 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM the following day, covering both clinic and inpatient duties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all OB/GYN procedures, including recent experience with c-sections and hysterectomies. This role requires an active Kansas license and proficiency with Epic EMR. There is potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in both clinic and inpatient settings 

• Perform all OB/GYN procedures, including c-sections and hysterectomies 

• Manage labor and delivery cases 

• Handle gynecological surgeries and consultations 

• Provide on-call coverage during assigned shifts 

• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation 

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams 

• Ensure high-quality patient care and safety

Required Qualifications: 

• Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN Physician 

• Active Kansas state medical license 

• Recent experience with c-sections and hysterectomies (minimum 5 of each in the last 24 months) 

• Proficiency in Epic EMR 

• Willingness to work in both clinic and inpatient settings 

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills 

• Ability to work 24-hour shifts
