 Wellhart is seeking a licensed Pediatric Dentist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Pennsylvania. Starting 07/01/2025, this role requires expertise in pediatric dental procedures including dental cleaning, cavity treatment, and crown placement for children under 12 years old. The dentist will work clinic hours from 7a-5p, with 24-hour call coverage including night call (5p-7a) and weekend call. This position involves supervising dental residents, seeing patients, and potentially assisting with advanced procedures in hospital operating rooms. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a Trauma center environment using the Cerner electronic health record system, with the possibility of long-term extension to support ongoing recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide pediatric dental care, primarily for children under 12 years old

• Perform dental cleanings, cavity treatments, and crown placements

• Supervise dental residents in the clinic setting

• Assist with advanced procedures in hospital operating rooms when needed

• Provide on-call coverage, backing up residents during nights and weekends

• Utilize Cerner electronic health record system for documentation
