Job Description

Wellhart is partnering with a facility in Maryland to place a locum tenens Pediatric Hospitalist for a 60-day assignment starting June 15, 2025. The position requires 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) including weekends, nights, and holidays.


Start Date: June 15, 2025

LOA: 60 days

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM), including weekends, nights, and holidays

Facility Location: Maryland

Provider Needed: Pediatric Hospitalist

Type of Facility: Hospital


Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

• Minimum 3 years of experience

• Maryland license or IMLC in hand

• Local drive-in candidates only

• DEA license

• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications

• CSR license


Responsibilities:

• General pediatric admissions

• Pediatric consults for surgery admissions

• Nursery and special care nursery coverage

• Attending high-risk deliveries (32 weeks and over)

• Emergency Department consults
