 We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Hospitalist for a 15-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio. The position requires 24-hour on-call coverage from 8am to 8am on specific dates in April, May, and June, starting 04/30/2025. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a patient caseload consisting of 90% newborns, 5% pediatric, and 5% adolescent patients. This role involves working at a Multi-Specialty Clinic, with an average daily census of 3-4 newborns and 0-1 pediatric patients every 2 months. The hospitalist may also have medical students observing rounds with newborn patients.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for pediatric patients
• Manage a diverse patient caseload, primarily focusing on newborns
• Conduct rounds and provide care for pediatric and adolescent patients as needed
• Supervise and teach medical students during newborn patient rounds
• Handle an average daily census of 3-4 newborns
• Attend to pediatric patients (0-1 every 2 months)
• Ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction
