Job Description

Wellhart is seeking a Pediatrician for a 30-day locum tenens assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Georgia. The assignment begins on 05/26/2025, with a flexible schedule of 8-hour days on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (with the possibility of reducing to 3 days if needed). The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing all outpatient pediatric clinic cases. This role requires proficiency with Epic EMR system and offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period. The position provides an excellent opportunity for a pediatrician to work in a diverse clinical setting, focusing on outpatient care for children and adolescents.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care

• Conduct well-child visits and routine check-ups

• Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and conditions

• Administer vaccinations and provide preventive care

• Offer guidance on child development and nutrition

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Epic EMR

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff

• Stay updated on current pediatric care guidelines and best practices

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
