Job Description

 Wellhart is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a locum tenens position at a multi-specialty clinic in Pennsylvania. This 120-day assignment begins on 06/17/2025, with a potential for extension. The schedule includes day shifts typically from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, night call from 4 PM to 10 PM, and weekend call shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a Trauma facility and proficient in various radiation oncology treatments, including IMRT, SBRT, and HDR. Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive radiation oncology treatments and cancer care services

• Perform and oversee IMRT, SBRT, and HDR procedures

• Manage an average of 38 treatments per day, with 75% being IMRT

• Conduct an average of 1.6 SBRT and 0.11 HDR treatments per day

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care

• Participate in cancer patient and caregiver support groups

• Provide nutritional counseling and support services

• Offer patient education resources

• Utilize Mosaiq and Aria EMR systems for patient documentation and management

• Adhere to clinic policies and procedures

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiation oncology best practices and advancements


Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania

• Experience with Mosaiq and Aria EMR systems is preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential

• Flexibility to work varying shifts as scheduled
