Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This role begins on Oct 1, 2025, and features shifts from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm. The practitioner will handle typical urgent care duties, focusing on non-high-acuity conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide care for patients presenting with conditions such as cold/flu symptoms, rashes, and minor burns.
  • Perform procedures including splinting, wound care, and managing sprains and lacerations.
  • Ensure proper referral of high-acuity cases to the local ER.
  • Work within the guidelines of ACLS and BLS certifications.


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified and possess a valid Pennsylvania state license.
  • DEA and CSR licenses required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal medicine, pediatrics, or family practice.
  • Comfortable treating patients of all ages.
  • Familiarity with the Epic EMR system is essential.
