Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This role commences on Oct 1, 2025, with shifts running Monday to Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM. The Nurse Practitioner will manage a range of urgent care duties, including treatment for cold/flu, minor injuries, and routine urgent care procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate and treat patients with cold and flu symptoms, rashes, lacerations, abrasions, sprains, and minor burns.
  • Perform orthopedic procedures such as splinting.
  • Administer wound care.
  • Refer high-acuity cases to the local emergency room as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic EMR system.


Additional Information

  • Board certification required: ACLS, BLS
  • Must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in internal medicine, pediatrics, or family practice
  • Comfortable treating patients of all ages
