Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Oct 1, 2025. The selected candidate will work daily shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM, providing care for patients in an urgent care setting, including treatment for cold and flu symptoms, minor injuries, and performing minor procedures such as splinting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate and treat patients presenting with cold/flu symptoms, rashes, lacerations, abrasions, and sprains.
  • Perform minor urgent care procedures such as splinting and wound care.
  • Refer high acuity cases to the local emergency room.
  • Ensure thorough documentation using the Epic EMR system.


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified and hold a current Pennsylvania state license.
  • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS.
  • DEA and CSR licenses are necessary.
  • Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in internal medicine, pediatrics, or family practice.
  • Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages.
