Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform general gastroenterology procedures and inpatient consults

• Provide 24/7 coverage for inpatient procedures and emergency room calls

• Manage a varied patient census, typically low volume

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Ensure timely and appropriate patient care and follow-up

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Epic EMR system

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Stay current with the latest gastroenterology techniques and practices
