We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position at a busy hospital in Vermont. This 45-day assignment begins on 07/28/2025, with a flexible schedule of either 8-hour shifts (8am-5pm) or 10-hour shifts (8am-7pm), Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will provide anesthesia services for a diverse case mix in one of Vermont's busiest operating rooms. Responsibilities include administering general and regional anesthesia for various surgical procedures, including general surgery, OBGYN, urology, trauma surgery, and pediatric dental cases. The CRNA will also be involved in acute pain management and minimally invasive blocks. Responsibilities and Duties:
• Administer general and regional anesthesia for a diverse case mix
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia plans
• Provide anesthesia services for general surgery, OBGYN, urology, and trauma cases
• Manage acute pain and perform minimally invasive blocks
• Administer anesthesia for pediatric dental procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and manage any complications
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Epic EMR system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
