We are seeking a skilled Hematologist/Oncologist for a locum tenens position in California. This 120-day assignment begins on 06/30/2025, and requires coverage for 24-hour call shifts, including 36 hours of patient-facing care and 4 hours of indirect patient care per week. The schedule involves working 5 days per week, with an optional telehealth day, and includes one weekend on-call per month covering both hospitals for new consultations, evening cross coverage, and night calls. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a full spectrum of benign and malignant conditions in adult patients, including solid tumors, benign hematology, and malignant hematology. This position offers the opportunity to work with an active clinical trial program and a well-equipped infusion center.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Diagnose, treat, and manage adult patients with benign and malignant conditions
• Handle solid tumors, benign hematology (clotting disorders, anemia, cytopenias, sickle cell, etc.), and malignant hematology (acute and chronic leukemias)
• Provide 24-hour call coverage
• Perform 36 hours of patient-facing care and 4 hours of indirect patient care per week
• Participate in new consultations, evening cross coverage, and night calls
• Collaborate with the experienced oncology-certified nursing staff
• Work with the on-site Radiation Oncology department
