Job Description

We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland, beginning on Oct 6, 2025. This role includes clinic coverage Monday through Thursday, with additional responsibilities for inpatient consults and call coverage. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Hematology, with experience in both clinic and hospital settings.


Job Details

  • Location: Maryland

  • Provider Type Needed: Hematologist/Oncologist
  • Schedule:
  • Clinic coverage: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • One weekday for inpatient consults and night call
  • 24-hour weekend call every fourth weekend


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide specialized care in hematology and oncology
  • Manage outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient consults
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, including weekend calls
  • Ensure the highest standards of care in both settings
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Hematology required
  • DEA and CSR licenses required
  • BLS certification needed
  • Proficiency with the Epic EMR system
