We are seeking a licensed Gastroenterologist for a 21-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio. Starting 07/01/2025, this role requires expertise in performing screening and diagnostic colonoscopies, EGDs, and managing food bolus cases. The physician will provide 24-hour on-call coverage for one week (7 consecutive days) per month, with a 30-minute response time to calls and 60 minutes on-site if necessary. Key responsibilities include providing on-call services for emergency department and inpatient needs, performing essential gastroenterological procedures, and utilizing the Epic electronic health record system. Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for emergency department and inpatient needs

• Conduct esophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGDs)
• Manage food bolus cases and other gastroenterological emergencies
• Respond to calls within 30 minutes and be on-site within 60 minutes if necessary

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with emergency department staff and other healthcare professionals
