Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Provide medication management for various mental health conditions
• Perform individual psychotherapy sessions
• Assess and manage high-risk patients with complex psychiatric and medical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Participate in inpatient care duties, including admissions, treatment, and discharges
• Manage outpatient care, including new patient referrals and follow-ups
• Provide telehealth assessments and consultations as needed
• Supervise mid-level providers and other staff as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using CPRS
• Participate in peer review and quality improvement activities
• Manage a caseload of approximately 6 to 6.5 bookable patient hours per day
• Provide expertise for peer review of selected cases, including tort claims and benefit appeals
