We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in North Dakota, starting on Jul 21, 2025. The role involves day shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM, with night and weekend call responsibilities. This position offers a unique structure, alternating between one and two weeks on/off schedules, tailored to the Psychiatrist's availability.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct daily rounds on the adult psychiatry unit
• Attend daily multi-disciplinary team meetings
• Communicate with patient families or natural supports
• Provide psychiatric consultations on inpatient units
• Complete thorough documentation of all patient interactions

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Psychiatry required; Board Eligible candidates considered
• Must hold or be able to obtain a North Dakota state license or IMLC
• Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Malpractice insurance must be provided by the physician or the locum agency
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system is essential
